Boston certainly has culture, from the brainy academics from Harvard and MIT to the "LAX bros" living in Southie, however there really is not much for those who want to strap on their dancing shoes and dance the night away - salsa dance the night away, that is.

For some, it might seem that it is impossible to bike in the Boston area. Whether you think it is too dangerous to bike in the busy streets, or you are sick of breathing in the city air, there actually are options for you! 

Does running through fire, getting zapped with 10,000 volts of electricity, and becoming caked with mud, while supporting an awesome cause sound like fun to you? Hell yea!! Tough Mudder is the latest event sweeping the nation for dare devils like me. The organization was founded by a Harvard University MBA and since its inaugural race in May of 2010, Tough Mudder has taken off. Thousands of people have since participated in Tough Mudder events spanning the United States, raising $707,398 for The Wounded Warrior Project, a non profit with the mission to “honor and empower wounded warriors”.
